Designer / Founder / Global Leader
Cloyette Harris-Stoute is an award-winning global leader, designer, and the creative force behind ALLIYETTE, a fine jewelry brand rooted in heritage, storytelling, and modern femininity. Based in New York and born in Guyana, Cloyette designs with intention, to celebrate cultural pride, honor legacy, and empower women to wear their identity with elegance.
Raised in a region where jewelry holds deep cultural meaning, Cloyette grew up surrounded by the tradition of gifting high-karat gold to newborns and the quiet power of heirloom adornment passed down through generations. Inspired by the creativity of her late grandmother, the women in her family, and the symbolism of the pieces they wore, she developed a reverence for ornate jewelry.
Driven by her twin passions, women’s empowerment and heritage-inspired design, she launched Twin Elegance in 2021, but rebranded to ALLIYETTE in 2024, a move that brought deeper creative alignment. Her work was named a finalist for the 2025 Accessories Council Design Excellence Award, with the winner to be announced in November 2025.
Cloyette’s first introduction to jewelry design and metalsmithing came through courses at the Jewelry Arts Institute in New York City and the Art League of Long Island, where she learned traditional techniques and working with various metals. She ultimately chose the creative path, and her journey into craftsmanship eventually took her across the world to India, where she immersed herself in time-honored jewelry-making practices. There, she witnessed the artistry and ancestral knowledge that also shaped the jewelry traditions of her homeland. It was a full-circle moment, a bridge between continents, cultures, and the shared language of goldsmithing that runs through both India and the Caribbean.
Before stepping fully into the world of jewelry, Cloyette built a nearly 20-year career in Healthcare Information Technology. She is also an AI consultant and the founder of Guyanese Girls Rock!, a media platform that celebrates exceptional women from her homeland, and the Guyanese Girls Rock Foundation, a nonprofit committed to mentoring, leadership, and scholarships for young women in the USA and Guyana. In 2024 she was award a 2024 Iconic Female Leadership Award by the Justine Mutale Foundation and most recently she received a 2025 100 Global Impact Icon Visionary in Digital Media Award by Women of Wealth Magazine. Her dedication to community shines through her charitable work, storytelling, and service on multiple nonprofit boards.
Through ALLIYETTE, Cloyette channels every part of her journey, the culture that shaped her, the women who inspired her, and the global craft traditions that continue to move her, into fine jewelry that helps women see themselves in every metal, every symbol, every story.
"ALLIYETTE is my love letter to legacy. It's where heritage meets modern elegance and every piece tells a story worth wearing." - Cloyette
